About the Group
Diva Golf offers a new twist on an old game! This group is for women of all skill levels who just want to play the game, network and build friendships both on and off the course.
Our members are all ages, all sizes and enjoy the non-threatening atmosphere that Diva Golf offers. We don’t worry about anyone’s handicap, type of equipment or clothing! So many women want to play golf but hesitate due to fear of not knowing what to do or how to act. This group offers a full season of weekly events that we call “Nine & Wine.” Each week we play a different course beginning in the later afternoons. We play 9 holes of golf with a cart and then meet in the clubhouse for a drink or snack. Memberships are sold on a yearly basis and there is no requirement to attend any particular sessions. We want to be a flexible league-pay and play as little or a much as you like. The goal is to have fun, improve your game and meet new people.
Unlike other networking groups, we won’t limit the type of people who can join. It seems frustrating to have to keep looking for a group when they already have a banker, Realtor or Attorney, etc.We welcome everyone! We offer group discounts on memberships as well. Our non-competitive atmosphere is open and empowering at the same time!
Currently the group operates in the Colorado Springs, Scottsdale and Tampa areas with other cities opening up in 2013. Contact us so we can notify you when your city open up to Diva Golf.
Diva Golf Staff
National Director & Queen Diva
Shawn Jardine started the group in 2012. She loved the game but had a difficult time finding people to play golf with. She believes that the barriers to getting more women into the game must be removed. Golf should be fun and accessible to everyone but especially Divas! Keeping score has a lower priority that looking and feeling good while playing! Growing the game of golf one new Diva at a time is her goal!
